Volunteer Opportunities with Aging Ahead

CENTER-BASED OPPORTUNITIES

Please rate your interest in each of the following:

Deliver meals to homebound older adults in your community.
Help older adults stay fit by instructing an exercise class one or two days per week in a Aging Ahead center or community location.
Help our Aging Ahead centers with activities such as computer classes, arts & crafts, dance classes, games, etc.
Assist Aging Ahead staff by serving, and/or cleaning up after the lunch meal.

ADVOCACY OPPORTUNITIES

Please rate your interest in each of the following:

Represent Aging Ahead during outreach events to share information on our mission, services, and programs. Further training will be provided.
Empower our Aging Ahead community with resources and measures to prevent healthcare fraud. Further training will be provided.
Receive training to become certified counselor who assists people on a one-to-one basis to understand Medicare healthcare benefits.
Citizens aged 60 or older that promote legislation to support Missouri’s older adults.

ORGANIZATION OR CORPORATE OPPORTUNITIES

Adopt a Meals on Wheels delivery route. Your team will be committed to delivering a meal route on a regular basis to homebound adults.
