COVID-19 Scams – Have you gotten robocalls, text messages, or emails offering COVID-19 tests in exchange for your Medicare Number? Be careful! Scammers are selling fake and unauthorized at-home COVID-19 test kits in exchange for your personal or medical information. Do not give out your Medicare Number! Over-the-counter or at-home tests are available for sale around the U.S. at many reputable and trustworthy retailers and pharmacies. If you suspect fraud, call 1-800-MEDICARE to report it.

It’s not just Covid shots but Flu, Pneumonia, Shingles, too. Many are hesitant on shots, but think of others around you. With Measles onthe outbreak again-duh. Isn’t this something the US took care of years ago? Seniors, check with your doctor(s) about updates. MyChart is great! For those who aren’t tech saavy, paper charting works too. Ask care centers for pocket/wallet charts and ask for assistance. The information above on how to check and protect, utilize them. Free covid testng kits are at the library. Being sick, at any age is awful! 🙂 Plus, you got that shot back then, you can take a shot again

I’m one of those more than hesitant about immunizations having an auto immune deficiency and having had a bad previous experience. This info is extremely helpful.

Make sure you check your insurance. If I get a vaccine at my doctor’s office there is a charge I have to payl. However, if I get the vaccine at CVS/Walgreens I pay nothing.
