While we can all agree the past year and a half has been very challenging, it has been particularly difficult for older adults and their caregivers, many who are struggling, often alone, to stay healthy, safe, fed, and connected. Aging Ahead has also been challenged to respond to an increase in requests for our services, including Meals on Wheels.
We are asking you to join us in supporting older adults’ by helping sponsor our 4th annual Aging Ahead and Edward Jones Miles for Meals to be held virtually on October 3rd. One in eight Missouri seniors struggle daily with food insecurity and this event is held to raise awareness and funds to help provide meals to those most in need.
Last year’s event was also held virtually and we had nearly 150 participants and raised enough funds to provide over 1200 Meals on Wheels! Please consider becoming a sponsor today! Your sponsorship can help us provide even more meals this year to individuals in St Louis, St Charles, Jefferson and Franklin counties.
Your reply by Sept 1st is appreciated to help ensure your name is prominently noted on promotional materials and online sites.
Donations can be made online at www.agingahead.org/5k/ or by checks to Aging Ahead Foundation. Please let us know if you have any questions by calling Lydia at 636-207-4230.
Thank you for your support!
