World Elder Abuse Awareness Day takes place each year on June 15 to help educate people about abuse and neglect of older adults. Missouri’s Adult Abuse and Neglect Hotline is available to report suspected abuse, bullying, neglect, and financial exploitation of older people. If you have concerns about an older adult call the hotline at 800-392-0210 or report online at www.health.mo.gov/abuse.

saw elder abuse to my father at clinic in st. charles. he had alzheimers
and fell out of bed to tile floor because bed rails weren’t raised..hard to
watch…also received antipsychotic shots upon arrival to contain him..he
never spoke again…get that clinic is a business but wonder would staff
allow their people treated that way? my guess is no…
