April is National Volunteer Appreciation Month, and at Aging Ahead, we’ve cherished the opportunity to honor and celebrate the incredible individuals who give so selflessly of themselves to support others.
676 volunteers gave 39,941 hours worth over $982,00
Across the agency, volunteers help in many ways, including welcoming participants at our senior centers, delivering Meals on Wheels, making social phone calls to lonely older adults, teaching classes, serving on our boards and support committees, helping prepare and serve lunch, educating the community about our services, providing clerical support to keep our programs running smoothly and so much more.
We truly couldn’t do what we do without the dedication and heart our volunteers bring to this work. Thank you for generously giving your time, energy, and compassion to support our mission. Every connection you make and every act of kindness you offer creates a meaningful difference in someone’s life. Your efforts don’t go unnoticed – you are deeply appreciated by all of us at Aging Ahead and by those whose lives you touch.
