Created in 2014 as a solution to the ongoing challenge of attracting older adults to senior centers, CHOICE brings a variety of programs and services to locations where older adults naturally congregate like libraries.
CHOICE has a variety of programs including:
Grant’s View Library– weekly presentations/lunch
University City Public Library– monthly lunch/learn
Jefferson College Arnold– twice weekly activities/lunch.

Why is it taken a month for someone to replace my grand pad that caught on fire and was personally return to aging ahead. IM on the non stop merry go round. Endless phone calls amd visits with no positive results

In reading the comments above, I think many don’t know how to use given devices, i.e. GrandPad or the Connect system on where to look for events, programs, addresses, articles, etc. Virtual classes are presented on how to use the system, but there isn’t that teacher watching the user or the user being able to do what the teacher is presenting while being taught/teaching what keys to touch, to go to that icon, to say “wait, can you repeat that”. This system, presented through Aging Ahead, is fantastic! Many are angered cause they didn’t get a callback and many aren’t able to physically go to a location. Ask a friend for assistance, that child or teen, your library, just someone whom you trust. YEAH, i’ve called/texted Aging Ahead-Emily, Jessica, Jennifer, I’ve asked for help. I’m able to go to an office, even the library. 🙂
