Please utilize the Senior Nutrition programs/Farmer’s Markets in your area. Free $50.00 to purchase fresh veggies and help those farmers. I live in north county and have learned so much from farm vendors, about veggies and learned about ‘new’ veggies. Just ask. I am also a volunteer, putting up tables, chairs and awnings early Saturday mornings. Come out, if not for the vendors, enjoy the free festive entertainment. GrandPad users, you may even recognize me out buying and having fun:)

This is a great benefit. I’m at the Lions Farmer’s Market every Saturday in St. Peter’s at the 370 Lake. Market starts on May 2nd. Farmers have had delicious fresh produce and fruits and I expect the same this year. An extra $50 will go a long way at the Farmer’s Market!

I want information to apply for the Farmers’ Market Nutrition Program. I do not see an online application. Do I need to make an appointment and bring verifying documents, or call to confirm my eligibility? If so, what is the phone number and address & who should I speak with?
Thank you

How do I find out the financial qualifications? I don’t ever qualify for anything although I can really use the assistance of the fresh fruits and veggies. This is an excellent and much needed program. Great information!!!
