2020 Census

Mid-March, households started responding to the census online, by phone, or by mail.  Aging Ahead is providing information to help ensure all older Missourians are counted!

The Census Bureau plans to finish collecting data by September 30, a month earlier than expected, raising concerns that the 2020 Census might not have time to count everyone before the deadline.  The Census is our chance to make sure our hard-earned tax dollars make their way back to Missouri. For every adult and every child that is not counted in the census, our state will lose $1,300 in federal dollars every year. Money that can go into roads and bridges, hospitals, schools and supportive services for older adults.
