Location: Lewis and Clark Library – 9909 Lewis and Clark Blvd, St. Louis, MO 63136
Presentation Description: Had history turned out a bit differently, St. Louis would also have been known as an automobile manufacturing powerhouse second only to Detroit. St. Louis was home to over forty automobile manufacturers in the early 20th century and can claim many “firsts” in the automobile industry. Come hear one of the authors of “They Will Run: The Golden Age of the Automobile in St. Louis,” Dr. Thomas Eysell, speak on the automotive history of St. Louis.
