Presentation Description: Aging in place is “the ability to live in one’s own home & community safely, independently, & comfortably, regardless of age, income, or ability level.” This one time class teaches modifications within the home to achieve healthier, safer, & easier living while promoting aging in place. A licensed Occupational Therapist provides information about various methods for home modifications ranging from simple, low-cost solutions to complex, high-end solutions.

Lunch must be ordered 48 hours in advance, by Wednesday at 10:00am for Friday class and Friday at 10:00am for Tuesday class. We are unable to make changes to your meal order after registration. If you registered without ordering a lunch and would like to change that to a meal, please reregister with your meal order. We are unable to accommodate any changes made over the phone or by email. (Please note the program has a 5 lunch order minimum and lunches may not be available.)
