Marshal
Marshal, a Meals on Wheels recipient, recently shared the impact Aging Ahead has had in his life. Sandy Lynn, a Community Service Coordinator, was visiting Marshal when she learned of a financial hardship he faced and set out to work with him to find a solution. Struggling to pay his real estate taxes each year often meant Marshal would borrow from a reverse mortgage loan. With Sandy’s help setting up a budget, Marshal is now on a payment plan to pay the taxes each month, thus eliminating the need to borrow money to pay his tax bill. The money he is saving can now go into a savings account and Marshal exclaims “that feels good!” He also reports his overall health is even better thanks to lower stress. “I feel much better about everything!” Marshal is so thankful for Sandy and Aging Ahead.
